You should never use a tow ball for recovery purposes, as they are not rated for vehicle recovery loading. TJM’s recovery hitch is perfect for those vehicles where it is difficult to mount rear recovery points. Our hitch is specifically designed to fit into leading manufacturer tow hitches and TJM rear step tow bars. High strength mild steel with a zinc coating ensures our recovery hitch will go the distance. The hitch can be turned in both directions with horizontal or vertical shackle hole alignment to avoid shackle binding.
